St. Lars

About ST.LARS

St. Lars is also called Laurentius, Lorenzo, Lawrence, and Laurent, and he was a deacon in Rome in the mid-200s. He suffered martyrdom by being grilled on a fire, and consequently, he is the patron saint of grill cooks (and comedians).

St. Lars is also a grill restaurant and bar in Bislet, featuring an open charcoal grill, a ham carver, and approximately 50 seating places. A painting of Lars on the fire, signed by Tor Arne Moen (freely based on Titian), adorns the wall at St. Lars.
